Wouldn’t be anywhere else!

We all love being at Kilmullen. A beautiful family run farm by Margaret and Eamon, who are so accommodating, even if we may have the naughtiest pony .... he hasn’t been expelled .. yet! Eamon is always on hand for any help and advice and in our case is gratefully needed at times! The children love it, a wonderful group of children and adults to ride, hunt or compete with, plus a growing knowledge of horses, ponies, lambs, sheep, blackberries, rabbits and the odd dreaded fox. Lots of fun, laughter, everyone’s included and everybody is made to feel welcome! Wouldn’t be anywhere else!

The best yard

Kilmullen is one of the best yards I've had the pleasure of keeping my horse. Great turnout and hacking, the most amazing arena in the area and a really lovely group of people are only some of benefits of being at this yard. I don't ever see myself leaving!

5 Stars

I moved to Kilmullen farm with my horse in 2003 and we have been there ever since! There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the yard and with so many riding opportunities from hacking to arena work, we never get bored! I can't imagine a better livery yard to be a part of for myself or my horse.

A fit for adults and kids!

I have been in Kilmullen farm for 10 years now. First as a competitive horse owner and now as a mum of two with ponies. I love the atmosphere in the yard that Margaret and Eamon bring. The facilities are fantastic with the lovely big arena and x country fences. Good hacking available too. I especially like that horses get out to the field for most of the day which is so important for them. Lovely people in the yard and a great bunch of kids too.

My Heaven

Before I brought my horse to Kilmullen he was very nervous  - of men in particular. As someone who works away a lot it gives me great comfort to see that my horse wants to rest his head on Eamon's shoulder every chance he gets. Sadly for me I've been replaced as Buddy's human best friend (but i wouldn't change a thing!). I have been with Kilmullen Livery for 8 years. Eamon and Margaret have helped make difficult times easier during the passing of my earlier horse. It's a unique yard where adults, children and ultimately great friends all coexist in a family atmosphere. Can't recommend enough.

This yard has it all

My horse has been in Kilmullen Farm Livery for over two years and he is one happy horse! All of the horses are relaxed due to the way the yard is run. If you are a competitive rider or just like to hack this yard has it all. The arena is superb with an excellent surface and the hacking around the farm is great for getting your horse fit and/or if you just want to go on a leisurely hack. There is always a lovely atmosphere and Eamon and Margaret are a pleasure to deal with.

Happy horses - Happy people

We’re a mother/daughter combo and Kilmullen meets both our needs. My daughter has a fab group of kids to ride with who welcomed her with open arms. Same goes for the adult population equally welcoming and friendly. Always someone in the yard to talk to or ride with. 150 acres to ride a fabulous variety of xc fences, a flood light arena and access to quiet roads for miles of hacking  what more could you ask for. Slip gate and rail for my daughter to practice for Minimus they’ve thought of everything here at Kilmullen. Always someone to give a helping hand or a word of advise. Lovely atmosphere and setting-happy horses happy people.

Outstanding Facilities

I've been at Kilmullen farm for close to 15 years. From no stables or arena to what it is today has been an incredible experience to be apart of. The facilities are outstanding, the huge flood lit arena allows for everyone to train at their own pace and time without feeling crowded. The cross country jumps giving the vital practice for hunter trials season. And the hacking is simply endless, without ever having to leave the farm if you don't want to. My horse is content and in a routine which makes my training easier and more manageable, particularly in the winter months. He is in 'show class' condition all year round thanks to the top quality haylage produced on the farm. The people are wonderful. I have met and made some life long friends over the years. From leisurely hacks together to supporting each other at competitions, whatever your fortay is, you will have a companion at Kilmullen Farm. A little bit of heaven on Earth in Wicklow.

Idyllic

I have  been blessed to be invited 5 times now to the wonderful. Livery yard of Eamon and Margaret in Kilmullen in the idyllic Wicklow. Five times that I have been overwhelmed with the hospitality of this family. They also have a wonderful farm with a lot of sheep, one apple orchard,  I think Margaret makes probably the best apple pie in the  world, but last and not least a super outside practice arena for training your horses in dressage en showjumping, a lunge  arena , super surroundings to ride out your horses en even train your horses on cross-country fences. Every time  I make a little visit to this place  I feel myself reborn and full of energy. These people and the beautiful nature around them makes my day every time over and over again. Therefore Margaret and Eamon thanks again for all the times you invited me and hope to see you again shortly. Hope your Stables customers experience  the same feelings.

Great Care & Super Friendly

We kept two horses on livery in the wonderful Kilmullen Farm.  One horse competing at 1* level with Eventing Ireland the other at Pony Club level.  It is a fantastic place for horses and people! Great care, super friendly atmosphere and really good facilities ... highly recommend ...
